It’s a new year and we have some brand new classes for you! Come and try your hand at diablo, hula hooping and stilt walking.
We’ve added Circus Fitness and Mixed Circus to our timetable, which are both suitable for complete beginners and designed to build your strength and confidence.
Trainer Sam Smart said the atmosphere would be “supportive”, adding: “You don’t need any previous experience to take part.”
Circus Fitness will take place at 7.30pm on Tuesdays and focus on developing strength, improving stamina and preventing injury.
We’ve added an extra open training session at 4pm on Wednesdays, plus a flying trapeze session at 7pm, which is suitable for beginners.
Mixed Circus, on Thursdays, will focus on ground skills, including acrobatics, diablo, hula hooping, juggling, movement, plate spinning, poi, staff spinning, stilt walking, tightwire and tumbling.
Sam added: “In this supportive beginner-level class, we’ll be looking at the fundamentals of a wide range of ground-based circus skills.”
We’ve also added two evaluation sessions to the timetable on Thursdays and Saturdays. If you haven’t trained with us before, come along and we’ll make sure we get you in the right class.
If you’ve already been signed off from our Introduction To Aerial course, come and join us for Chinese pole, flying trapeze, Mixed Aerial or open training.
We also have aerial hoop, flying trapeze, silks and open training sessions suitable for those with more experience.
The training space will be closed the week beginning Monday, January 24 as the team make some changes to the training space, including adding new rigging points for static trapeze.
